Many friends in my country Oman says to me, “Are you still using Facebook.com?” We have now other social medias which are more popular. Facebook.com is still popular We have approxmatly 600, 000 uses according to Internet World Stats.

Oman Companies can open a page where they can put information about their business, updates, picture, offers and many things.

How can a small business benefit from Facebook.com? Benefits of having an account in facebook.com is that it can be used as a new channel to reach customers, free method of marketing, inform customers about your new promotional offers. You can even use it with your suppliers by publishing tenders. Some small companies in Oman publish job opportunities in their facebook.com. You can use it to improve your relationship with your employees. For example, Tibiaan Properties is publishing job opportunities in their page. Muriya Tourism Development is showing their updates and offers in the web site. Mazoon Environmental & Technological Services LLC (METS) is using it to show to customers updated news. Cars are increasing in Sultanate of Oman year after year. The demand of oil products is increasing year after year. Citizens and expatriates driving the car in the country are increasing. Many petrol stations are opening outside Muscat and the petrol stations inside Muscat are doing well.
